Equipped with a full-size ballroom and lounge, the Lusitano brings a little part of Portugal to the United States. Members gain access to some of the best Portuguese comedians, performers and singers, while having total access to the lounge area during operating hours. The Lusitano lounge is the perfect hang out for anyone, with a full-sized bar, billiard tables, foosball table, and 9 TV screens to watch any Portuguese or major sporting event. The entire complex is also fitted with free wireless internet and has a public domain desktop in the lounge, also free for all members.

For centuries the Portuguese have been immigrating to various areas around the world, forming communities, and organizing social groups; the P.H.S. Lusitano is one such group. We have three functions at the P.H.S., the primary is to secure a place where any Portuguese or Portuguese-descendant can socialize and interact with each other to preserve and spread our culture. The second purpose is to expand that culture within our membership ranks by bringing comedians, singers, performers, and politicians to our ballroom for our members' enjoyment. Lastly the P.H.S. Lusitano is formed to support Portuguese communities and our local communities as well. One of the biggest roles the club plays is to give not only monetarily to Portuguese and local charities with donations, but to share our capital and resources to make what difference we can abroad in Portuguese nations and right here at home.      

Por séculos os portuguêses imigraram às todas das partes do mundo e tendo dado forma a comunidades, e têm organizado grupos sociais; o P.H.S. Lusitano é um tal grupo. Nós temos três funções preliminares no P.H.S., o primeiro é fixar um lugar onde todos os Portugueses ou Portuguese-descendentes possam socializar para preservar e divulgar a nossa cultura. A segunda finalidade é que a cultura dentro de nossa sociedade cresca trazendo comediantes, singers, performers, e políticos ao nosso salao para a apreciação dos nossos membros. O P.H.S. Lusitano é dado forma última para suportar também não somente comunidades Portuguese mas nossas comunidades locais. Um dos trabalhos do clube é dar não somente monetarily as obras de caridade Portugueses e locais com donacoes, mas compartilhar os nossos capital e recursos para fazer a diferença que podemos em nações internacionais e aqui em casa.
